We are located in the Kalahari in the Nothwest Province, approximately 250m's northwest of Vryburg.
We own and operate a lodge/hunting-camp and this also acts as base-camp from where we conduct our hunting-safaris.
During the course of a 5-7-day hunt a client will/can hunt on as much as 50 000ha.
Amongst my own land, I also hold the hunting rights on a number of other privately owned properties as well as the magnificent Molopo Reserve.
The Molopo Reserve is 25 000ha and is it currently the largest provincial reserve in the Northwest Province where hunting is allowed.
I am the only Hunting Outfitter whom has ever hunted this reserve and I have done so now for the past 6 years.
There are literally 1000's of game animals with fantastic trophy quality with beautiful, typical Kalahari savannah-bushveld.
Typically I will recommend a 5-7 day hunting safari. This is ample time to hunt a number of species due to the abundance of game.
The most common species we have here are as follows:
Steenbuck
Duiker
Warthog
Springbuck
Blesbuck
Impala
Redhartebeest
Bluewildebeest
Blackwildebeest
Gemsbuck
Zebra
Nyala
Kudu
Eland
We also offer additional species like Sable, Roan, White Blesbuck, Lechwe, Tsessebe, Black Springbuck, White Springbuck, Copper Springbuck, Bontebuck and Waterbuck. However, these species are hunted in the Free State in conjunction with Steyl Game Enterprises.
If a client is interested in these species, then he can/will start/end his safari there since it is within a comfortable distance from the Airport in Johannesburg.
Upon arrival at the Johannesburg Airport (Oliver Tambo International Airport) the client will/can be assisted by a representative to help clear his/her fire-arms at Customs. This is a "Meet & Greet" -service that is offered, at a fee.
Then, once you have cleared Customs, you will be taken to the Mini-bus who will then proceed to transport you to our camp (distance 650km's).
A typical hunting-day is as follows:
You will be woken an hour before sunrise by a staff-member, followed by coffee, tea, juice, toast, fruit etc.
After that, you will join your Professional Hunter and his tracker/s on his hunting vehicle
There will be a drinks-box on the vehicle and, depending on where you will hunt for the day, you may also have a lunch-box.
Then, you will hunt untill around 12 o'clock, take a break, have lunch and then, after that continue hunting.
You will stop hunting at sunset and then return to camp.
We offer delicious food and game is a popular request.
All hunted animals will be skinned, salted and stored untill they are ready to be collected/delivered to a Taxidermist. I make use of Life Form Taxidermy |
